Project #1

 

Michelle worked with a consortium of regional media companies to enhance their multi-platform entertainment offering and ability to compete on a national scale.  

 

The engagement started with research to ascertain customers' communications, media, and digital entertainment preferences.  Michelle translated customer needs into technical product requirements. She also mapped customer journeys to guide the product's prototyping and building via two-week sprint intervals. 

Project #2

 

Michelle worked with a major wireless provider to enhance its ability to acquire and retain an elusive but trend setting niche customer segment.

 

The engagement started with detailed consumer research that Michelle used to develop eight unique customer profiles delineating nuances within this niche customer segment.  She also tied the research directly to the company’s database to view each sub-segment's specific activities, including:  ARPU, product purchases, feature add-ons, service costs, call-in rates, up-sell rates, churn rates, and non-pay rates.

Project #3

 

Michelle worked with an international entertainment company to create a new OnDemand Video service for its customers and capitalize on the "cord-cutting" trend.

 

The engagement was structured to 1) design, 2) build, and 3) launch the on-demand service.  Michelle led the evaluation of multiple business models, ultimately opting for the most effective.  The service was built to leverage unlimited shelf-space (via Internet distribution) and aggregate volumes of niche video content to deliver a differentiated product for maximum incremental company revenue.
